Covid-19 Vaccine Roll-out Study

Insight was approached in December 2020, several weeks prior to the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination program that targeted U.S. nursing homes based on risk-stratification by the CDC and DHHS, to guide implementation of a study measuring the impact of an intervention directed toward educating nursing home staff members. We were responsible for coordinating the enrollment, data collection, and communication for the 100+ nursing homes that were randomized for participation and for providing educational information and supplies to the homes. Although the intervention proved to have minimal impact on staff vaccine uptake, the findings were well-received and published in a high-impact U.S. biomedical journal 9 months after study completion (see Bibliography).
