Lisa Han is a cofounder, President, and Chief of Innovation for Insight Therapeutics, LLC. She has expertise in research on geriatric-related health issues and long-term care, and has worked as an investigator, project manager and consultant for numerous studies. She has experience managing, analyzing, and reporting on data from secondary databases, clinical trial datasets, and pharmacy claims data. Lisa has played an active role in multiple epidemiological and clinical research studies, including large-scale pragmatic clinical trials. She has a strong interest in areas around chronic diseases related to aging, disease prevention, health care economics, and care transitions.
Lisa serves as Chair on the board of directors for Pinnacle Living Communities, a nonprofit organization with continuing care and retirement communities in multiple locations throughout Virginia. She is active in scientific writing and manuscript preparation, and currently serves on the editorial review board for The Senior Care Pharmacist journal. She also has a certificate in medical writing from the American Medical Writers Association.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance from Old Dominion University. She earned her Master of Public Health degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School/Old Dominion University with an emphasis on epidemiological methods.
Lisa lives in Chesapeake, Virginia, with her husband, two children, and 2 dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, outdoor activities, and making pottery.
